Approved by the National Energy Administration, instructed by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and supported by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and the Zhuhai Municipal Government, the China (Macao) International Energy Forum & Energy Equipment Exhibition 2019 is hosted by China National Coal Group Corp., China National Coal Association, China Machinery Industry Federation, China Petroleum Chemical Industry Federation, China Electricity Council and Huasheng Green Industry Foundation, and will be held on November 25-27 at Macao Cotai Expo and Zhuhai International Exhibition Center.

This Forum and Exhibition is aimed at propagate China’s energy development strategy and scientific innovation since the reform and opening-up, focusing on the new ideas of the global energy industry, promoting the exchange and cooperation in the international energy industry, enhancing the China’s discourse power and influence in the global energy field,  and improving the competitiveness of China’s energy industry in the international market. In addition, it is an important measure to implement the CPC Central Committee and the State Council’s planning for facilitating the development of "Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area" and boosting the superior development of China’s energy sector.

The Forum will focus on the theme, “energy brings the world to a better future.”, start with the keynote speech delivered by the officials of National Energy Administration on the topic “energy superior development and energy security". Then, the experts and scholars in each energy sector will discussed five issues, i.e. “safe efficient mining and clean efficient utilization of coal”, “oil and gas resource development”, “smart grid”, “green energy development and outlook”, and “energy equipment and technology”. The number of the participants will amount to 500 people.

To implement the development strategy of "Guangdong- Hong Kong- Macao Greater Bay Area", reinforce the strategic cooperation with Macao, and promote the long-term prosperity and development of Macao, we are consulting and coordinating with Zhuhai Municipal People's Government, actively exploring the new mode of “one exhibition in two cities”. The exhibition will be held simultaneously in Macao and Zhuhai, in order to present the corporate style and scientific innovation of technology, equipment and construction in electricity, coal, oil and new energy sectors, build the platform of promoting and coordinating projects, and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic.
